Liquid Phase Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Vessels

Riley Equipment Company rents and sells liquid-phase granular activated carbon vessels, also known as GAC Vessels and liquid scrubbers. Our liquid filtration vessels can be used in a wide range of different applications including the removal of odor from Ethanol for the process of making Hand Sanitizer.

Liquid Phase Carbon Vessels

Liquid GAC Vessel Process

Liquid phase granular activated carbon vessels are commonly used to treat contaminated water by filtering out dissolved organic compounds. The liquid phase granular activated carbon absorbs the contaminants from the water that is being pumped through the vessel.

RECO's RL series for liquid filtration vessels can be designed to easily fit most installation areas. They are coated inside with a long-lasting polyamide epoxy resin and outside with a durable epoxy mastic to handle even the harshest of liquid streams. No matter what you intend to filter out or even if you are not certain of what you need, we are here to do our best to assist you in designing a filtration solution to meet your needs.

Whether you require an Empty Bed Contact Time (EBCT) of 25 minutes at 5.34 Gallons Per Minute (gpm) or 213.73gpm, a 5 minute EBCT at 26.72 or 1068.65gpm, anywhere between, or beyond, we have the liquid phase carbon vessels to match. RECO's RL Series is available for both rent or purchase.
