Our line of Liquid Phase Virgin Granular Activated Carbon is made from a selected grade of bituminous coal and is produced under rigidly controlled conditions. This activated carbon also has an excellent distribution of macro-pores and micro-pores which are highly suitable for use in waste treatment and all liquid phase applications.

Granular Activated Carbon Applications

Liquid phase filtration is commonly used to filter chloramines and organic compounds, including pesticides and herbicides, from drinking water. Uses include cartridge manufacturing for portable water, beverage water, etc. Also can be used for the promotion of oxidation, reduction and elimination reactions.
