Activated carbon is very proficient in odor removal because it has micro and macro pores to pull molecules into itself there by absorbing them, as well as attracting them and holding molecules on its surface there by absorbing them. The process of 'activating' carbon is designed to maximize the surface area to mass ratio.

The activation process generates a network of minute openings (pore or cavities) of different diameters on the carbon surface which become the path for water or air to access the extended internal surface created by the activation.

“Healthy Way to remove odors”

Our impregnated pleated air filters are used for odor removal applications. The carbon impregnated filter media does not absorb moisture, will not support microbial growth and is resistant to a wide range of chemicals. The filter support grid is made of 30 gauge galvanized metal. The filter frame is double wall moisture resistant beverage board.

Filter Max Temperature: 180 °F continuous service and peaks at 225 °F

Max. Humidity: Resistant to 100% R.H.

Flammability: Class 2, U.L. 900
